A celebration of his life’s work, Pierrick, new venture fuses the delicacy of fine French & Melbourne style café & desserts.

Reverie Café is an all-encompassing dining experience. The intention was to create a venue for people to escape the hustle and bustle, indulge & relax and I think we have executed well.

After been 13.5 years, Pierrick Boyer was the Executive Pastry Chef at the RACV City Club / Le Petit Gateau. Classically trained with over 30 years’ experience in the industry (in France, Belgium, Italy, America & Australia). Also actively involved in charity work, such as: The Starlight Foundation, Australian Childhood Foundation, The Royal Children’s Hospital, Olivia Newton John Cancer & Wellness Centre, HeartKids, Skin Cancer & Strokes Foundation, Hope Foundation Laos, One Plate and more.

Pierrick has made international appearances in: Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia & Japan, in special events, charity & cooking segments on TV shows. With a wealth of international experience working alongside acclaimed Chefs such as: Alain Ducasse, Christophe Michalak, Pierre Marcolini and Stephane Leroux (MOF).In July 2007, Pierrick opened ‘Le Petit Gateau’ in Little Collins St, Melbourne and it was quickly Voted ‘Best Pastry Shop’ by ‘The Foodies Guide to Melbourne.’ The Brownie passion was voted ‘Amazing Cake’ in ‘The Age.’ In 2010-2011, the peanut chocolate-raspberry gateau was voted ‘Best Gateau’ in Foodies Guide to Melbourne and ‘Best Chocolate Cakes’ by ‘The Herald Sun.’ In 2012, Le Petit Gateau was voted ‘Top Restaurant’ by Zomato (formerly Urbanspoon). In 2013, Pierrick was involved with the RACV Achievement Awards and also was involved with ‘Taste of Tennis’ during the Australian Open & in 2014,15 & 16 he was a part of the Alzheimer Gala Charity dinner in Melbourne & Rotary Club in Penang, JB, Malaysia
